This week I’m joining the #oldskoolchallengeclub with the #OnceUponAHalloween! challenge by @hook.me.a.book. The task is “to build a spooky Halloween story using BOOK TITLES from your shelves. The darker, stranger and more gloriously nonsensical, the better! Bonus kudos for stories that leave us wondering what on earth you’ve been reading.”
My entry is a doomed romance between the heirs of two rivalling families with a history of bromodosis (foot odour) who resort to poisoning themselves when they are forbidden to marry.
Books used:
While the Music Lasts by Alice McVeigh
I Can Smell Your Feet by Mak Ralston
Take Us to a Better Place by Madeline Ashby
Before It’s Too Late by Jane Isaac
The Last Chapter by Fiona Ash
Our Story by Miranda Dickinson
A Pinch Of Poison by Apeksha Rao
Dig Two Graves by Helen H. Durrant
