A deeply atmospheric point-and-click mystery, pulp adventure thriller. The Drifter is dark, tense and emotional, with a powerful storyline and gripping voice acting. It is entertainment that invites reflection, presenting a story of loss, fear and horror, and a deeply personal and compelling portrait of a man who is left adrift, desperately fleeing from his own personal demons, while at the same time aware that he cannot outrun himself.
Lots of games have stories, but few are as riveting as The Drifter. The story is action-packed, intense and switches between tugging at your heartstrings and blowing your mind, partly due to the compelling story and partly due to the brilliant voice acting from all the characters, but especially Mick, the main character, whose every line is delivered with full emotional impact and a gorgeous Aussie accent. Absolutely recommended for fans of point-and-click adventures and puzzle games, and anyone who enjoys a good, dark, atmospheric story.
