Ever dreamed of running a cozy little bookshop, matching customers with the perfect book for them based on their reading tastes and preferences? If you have, you will probably love Tiny Bookshop. In this bookshop management simulator, you are the owner of a mobile, second hand bookshop, and your job is to stock your shelves with literature, drive your bookshop to a suitable location in and around town, and listen carefully when customers tell you what kind of books they like, so you can match them with something from your catalogue.
The game uses actual real life books, so avid readers will know what to recommend simply by looking at the titles. If you don’t know a book don’t worry, the game provides short descriptions of all of the books to help you recommend the right one. It is cozy, relaxing and I get a thrill out of it every time I see a book I know on the shelf of my little bookshop. The game is cozy, relaxing and easy, and I love the idea of matching people to books. A customer might ask for a recommendation, telling you that they want to read something by a female author, and that they like mystery but not horror. Have an Agatha Christie book on your shelves? Give them that and watch them happily gush over your choice.
When you’re not recommending books, you can water your plants, pet a dog or just sit back and relax while you wait for the next customer to ask for a recommendation. Gaming doesn’t get more cozy, or more book related than this.
