Plum Lockhart is a brash travel magazine editor in New York. When she looses her job, she decides to take up an offer as a villa broker on a Caribbean resort island.

What may sound like a dream location to many, soon reveals itself to be quite a struggle for Plum. Her pushy and bossy behaviour which helped her career as a big city editor is not well received on the island. Here she well have to learn to relax and slow down, a difficult task for an ambitious woman who has grown used to the fast-paced, cut-throat New York city life.

When a guest is found dead in Casa Mango, a villa Plum has brokered to a bachelor party group despite warnings from her boss, she dives head first into investigating the murder. But Plum is not the only one who wants to know what happened. The distractingly handsome resort director of security is investgating as well, and for the first time in her career, the lone wolf Plum now has to try to learn to work with someone else.

Can the Caribbean sun and the attractive director of security melt Plum’s frozen exterior? And can the two of them solve the mystery of what happened in Casa Mango? Only time will tell.
